Nuno Calado, CEO of Hydra iT, predicts that the value of services performed abroad will increase significantly in 2012.  

Hydra iT - Tecnologias de Informação e Conteúdos has allocated significant human, technical and financial resources to the research and technological development (R & TD) component. An example of this was the development, in partnership with entities of the National Scientific System, of an application for the health sector called Vitalcare.  

"It is a solution that allows you to measure vital signs and monitor patients from the home, using a 'kit' of meters connected to the television" explains the executive president of the company based in Braga to Diário Económico . Nuno Calado adds that the investment is around 862.000 euros. And he adds that it is used through the television set and not the computer, as with other services of the sort, in which the remote monitoring is done.  

This solution will allow health service providers to provide "a more efficient and better quality service to users", says Nuno Calado, assuring that the application is "ready to enter into commercialization". In the first approaches to the market, Hydra iT confirmed the great potential of this innovative service, which "allows to have positive expectations, regarding the accomplishment of orders", he emphasizes.
